Nicole Wu
Nicole is a junior at NYU Stern studying Technology and Entrepreneurship. She loves the scrappy energy of startups and has thrown herself into the AI wave by helping Perplexity and Delphi AI build their campus presence. Outside of the startup hustle, you’ll find her at the dog park sipping matcha and dog-watching—because she misses her own pups back home in Taiwan.

What do you look for in program members?
We look for someone who brings laughter, commitment, and initiative to the team. It's important to find people who take their own steps to bring opportunities back to campus and are definitely a bit scrappy!
What’s your favorite AI?
You should try n8n; the workflow automation is really impressive. It saves you so much time by doing all the tedious work overnight, freeing you up to focus on things that actually move the needle.
Favorite tech@nyu event of all time?
The Startup Week Social, for sure. We have amazing professional networking opportunities with speakers flying in from the West Coast, and I love seeing so many alumni coming back.
What an integral part of your mindset?
Don't hesitate or overthink it—put your ideas into action and just try.
Advice to your younger self?
Don’t ever let imposter syndrome stop you from taking on new challenges. Remember that learning as you go is part of the process.
