Liz Kim
Liz is a currently a senior studying Computer Science and Economics. She previously worked at Amazon Web Services as a Technical BizDev Intern and is very passionate about the intersection between Technology and Business. Outside of school and work, she enjoys visiting Jazz bars, curating playlists, and trying out new restaurants.

Why tech@nyu?
I LOVE THE PEOPLE <3 Tech@NYU has been a community where I’ve built genuine relationships and met many of my best friends, while also being surrounded by smart and passionate people. I love the diverse array of interests that Tech@NYU members have, such as CS, Design, Marketing, and Robotics; it really allows me to expand my perspective.
Favorite tech@nyu event of all time?
My favorite Tech@NYU event of all time was the Crowdvolt (YC W24) × Tech@NYU Hiring Panel. It was fascinating to hear from the founder’s perspective on scaling mere ideas into a global business model. Moreover, as an avid music lover, it was exciting to learn about the backbone of the ticket-buying/selling platform and how the team makes product decisions. The best part: they were hiring NYU students as interns and new grads as well!
Favorite tradition/memory from tech@nyu?
Eboard BBQ social was super fun, especially thanks to our amazing chefs (Sean & Andy) for the amazing food :) Also looking forward to our Eboard retreat coming up in late November 2025!
What do you do outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy going to jazz bars in NYC, trying out new restaurants, and visiting museums and art galleries! I also recently started using Citi Bike to explore more places.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I hope to be in a role or place where I get to meet incredible and passionate people that I can learn from, just like at Tech@NYU! I really value learning in life; I want to be in an environment where I’m continually challenged and pushed out of my comfort zone. Hopefully, I’ll still be passionate about and working in the tech industry!
