Why tech@nyu?
I wanted to meet people who were interested in tech and outside of my usual business bubble! Joining Tech Treks last semester was such a fun experience where I got to develop an app for the first time and meet so many passionate people. After that, I wanted to get more involved!
What's your aesthetic?
Simple and clean, but colorful
What do you do outside of work?
I’m in a competitive dance team called Synchronic so I spend a good amount of time at practice or at dance classes. Dancing has been a passion of mine since high school, and it's an amazing break from work. I also like to knit, journal and do other crafty stuff.
Advice to your younger self?
To keep working hard. Hard work always pays off and the universe is on your side :)
What's your journey into Marketing?
I’ve always been a very creative person growing up and once wanted to be a designer. Going into college, I debated becoming some sort of art major, but decided against it because I realized I get creatively burnt out easily. Marketing was a path that blended creativity with numbers, and I found the strategy side really fun. Since I’m also passionate about tech, I also liked how marketing is a flexible role that is involved in all industries!
