Why tech@nyu?
I joined Tech@NYU because I genuinely love bringing people together. It’s one of the few places where students from all majors can connect with founders, PMs, and professionals, and I’ve seen how tech can create community, conversation, and real opportunities. I’m also really excited about how technology, especially AI, is starting to shape every professional field. Tech@NYU has given me exposure by putting me in rooms with people who are actually building the future. It’s helped me connect my interests in people, creativity, and tech, and it’s honestly where I feel the most inspired to keep growing.
What do you do outside of work?
I love to do active or creative activities. I love trying new food spots in the city, English horseback riding (when I can), and making ceramics. These are honestly one of my favorite ways to unwind.
Favorite tech@nyu event of all time?
I truly loved our panel with Terri Burns. She was incredibly inspiring, and it was amazing to see how she went from Tech@NYU to Google Ventures and ultimately to starting her own VC firm. It really showed how we as students can take the experiences and connections we build here and turn them into something meaningful.
What's your journey into (your career/goal)?
I hope to go into tech and media management consulting because I love the intersection of strategy, people, and how technology shapes the way we connect. Through Tech@NYU and different projects, I’ve seen how quickly these industries are changing, and I want to help organizations navigate those changes.
Advice to your younger self?
I’d tell my younger self that it’s okay to put yourself out there, most good things start when you take a small risk. I’d also remind myself to get more sleep, because everything feels easier when you’re rested. And most importantly, I’d say to focus on your own journey. Everyone moves at their own pace, and things work out when you stop comparing and trust where you’re headed.
Who's your opp?
My real opp is caffeine. Coffee is basically my addiction, but it also ruins my sleep. So we’re in a very toxic, love-hate relationship.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
In ten years, I hope to have built a strong foundation in consulting and then transition into nonprofit or sustainability consulting. I want to use the skills I gain early in my career to support organizations and projects that create a meaningful social impact.
Favorite tradition/memory from tech@nyu?
My favorite Tech@NYU memory has to be the barbecues at Sean’s place, where there was really good steak and mac and cheese. Whenever we go to Sean's place, there's always good food, good people, and a chance to get competitive playing pool!
