Frank Lin
Frank is currently a freshman majoring in Math and Computer Science who wants to build tools and applications that matter. He's interested in algebra, category theory, and functional programming. He also enjoys piano, photography, and crosswords.

When you’re in this space, it’s easy to get lost in the world of maximizing LinkedIn connections and AI buzzwords. But through tech@nyu, I’ve found a community of genuine and down-to-earth people who are passionate about tech and art and everything in between. I hope as a part of the e-board, I can help others find that community, too.
What do you do outside of work?
I love playing piano and taking photos and videos, especially of my friends! I always enjoy looking back at all the stuff I’ve made in the past; they’re like little time capsules. I’m also really obsessed with NYT crosswords right now. Also, I’m in an acapella group called Mass Transit. Come see us!

Stop overthinking everything!

Everything Everywhere All at Once, Bojack Horseman, Celeste, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Nurture.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Making a real positive impact on the world, whether that’s through tech, nonprofit work, teaching, or otherwise.
