Revamping of Our Program Placements
An editorial take on how the club is rethinking where people fit and how they move through the system.

Program placement has a structural effect on the club. When it works, members land in environments that stretch them without losing them. When it fails, people either drift into the wrong work or miss the chance to build momentum at all.
We have been revisiting placement design with that in mind. The goal is not to create more complexity for its own sake, but to make the pathway between interest, skill level, and real contribution feel more intentional.
This post starts the public rationale for that redesign and gives us a place to explain why the structure is changing before the results are fully visible on the outside.
