Workshop Agenda

HackNY will be holding its Spring Hackathon this weekend (24-25th) so this week we’ll be doing a special workshop designed to prepare you for the extravaganza. If you’re unfamiliar, a hackathon is a coding competition where developers come together to build a new app in 24 hours while incorporating 3rd-party APIs (Facebook, Foursquare, Twilio, etc). This workshop will teach you what it means to use an API and how to incorporate one into your app. Beginners welcome!

If you haven’t signed up for HackNY’s Hackathon: http://hackny.org/a/s2012/

If you haven’t already, please try to install Python on your computer before the workshop: http://python.org/download/
